CERTIFIED TURNAROUND PROFESSIONAL
Through this professional designation, the corporate renewal industry follows in the footsteps of other professions that have established stringent criteria to create a benchmark of practical experience, knowledge and professional ethics. The result is a professional that struggling companies can engage with the knowledge that objective standards of practice have been met.
To be designated a Certified Turnaround Professional, a person must possess proven practical experience (providing confidential confirmations from clients), submit additional case descriptions and pass a rigorous three part examination.
In addition to practical experience, to be designated as a Certified Valuation Analyst a person must pass a series of seven rigorous examinations and submit a full written valuation report on a business. The CVA is the premier accreditation for business valuation services.
